Values and Mission

Our Mission

  • We are the most ethical and caring financial partner providing services to our communities beyond expectations.  This is important because our communities improve through  the services they receive that they would not otherwise get.

Our Fundamental Values

  • We value the financial well-being of our customer-owners.
Victory Credit Union offers competitive financial products and services because they contribute to the financial well-being of its members and to their financial security.

We value the community.

  • Victory Credit Union values its binding ties to the community it serves – the community that created its assets.  Fulfilling its aspirtaions to be the financial institution of first choice will result in furthering the community’s well-being while being a socially and environmentally responsible organization.

We value our personal service.

  • Victory Credit Union’s personal service reflects its values of local ties and connections.  Its members are first and foremost neighbors with names, not numbered accounts.

We value our people.

  • Victory Credit Union is proud of our employees, striving to be an employer of choice by respect of the individual, providing a safe and secure workplace and allowing our employees to grow in their chosen careers.  We value our volunteers who give countless hours to support our credit union and the community.

The Board of Directors

  • For those of you who are not aware, we have a local Board of Directors elected each year at our annual meeting. New directors, as terms expire, are nominated and elected from the general membership for a three year term. Victory Credit Union strives to have equal representation on the Board from each county.

  • The Board of Directors have a responsibility to the law and to the members to ensure authority is exercised in a manner which serves the best interests of the organization.

  • In order to be eligible to serve as a Director of the Victory Credit Union, the individual must be a Canadian citizen, nineteen years of age and be a member of the credit union.
